Kids Helping Kids (SD)
A promotional video for the non-profit, Kids Helping Kids Fix Broken Hearts Inc. Production of the initial cut of this project took place in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

 

This project is currently being revamped to suit the fundraising needs of the organization. This promotional video successfully raised over $4,000 in one weekend showing.

Afro-Galactic Postcards  (Experimental Podcast)

A series of short podcast postcards expressing the pathos and longing of homesick travelers alienated from both the place they come from and the places to which they travel. They are communications of love and frustration. They are instructions and signs. examening the relationship of a spac project for Written and directed by Cauleen Smith.

The Youth Conservation Corps  (DV)

"Teams of Hawaii's youth set out to make right what man & misfortune has made wrong."The Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) is a summer program to teach students  how to protect Hawaii's ecosystem.  Though young in age, these teenagers speak of philosophies and ideals which many adults fail to grasp in their daily lives.  As these teams struggle to protect native species they learn what it truly means to be in harmony with paradise.

In Imitating Juan Diego, Benito Gallardo (PIERANGELO BUONAMICI) begins to believe in miracles when his mother, Anamaria Gallardo (NELLY PARDO), sees an apparition of Jesus Christ on the backyard tree hoping it might intervene and save his alcoholic father, Santiago Gallardo (WENCESLAO SALGUERO), who has dwindled in his faith.

A documentary depicting the struggles of a 50 year old immigrant man who deals with the struggles of going back to college.  Though adjustment is tough, the end goal balances the struggle.
